How long have you been in business?
We are a small family owned and operated business. We have been in business for 7 years and we not only offer the experience but also the security that a franchise can offer you through our insurance, fidelity bond, city and state licenses. We can also offer you something that a franchise will not be able to offer. You have the chance to meet and communicate with the owner regarding any issues that might be occurring. This is how we avoid future issues, through the close communication and better control of employees (lower number).
Why a cleaning service?
This company was created after first-hand learning all of the weaknesses and issues of at least one cleaning franchise (name not to be disclosed). These weaknesses were then worked on to create our own strengths in the field. Most of our clients hire Ruth & Ruth after been disappointed by a big cleaning company in town. Some of the weaknesses that these companies have and that we are able to surpass are the following:
- Lack of consistency
- Different housekeepers
- Not meeting their promised cleanliness level
What are your rates?
Our prices are individualized to the specific needs of each home. Every home is very unique and the quotes will be based on different factors, including the type of furniture, the number of members of the family, number of pets, clutter etc. This is why we offer free estimates at your house. Do you have packages?
No. Our 7 years of experience indicate that each house requires an individualized cleaning plan, which we come up at the time of the cleaning quote. We specialize in full detailed cleanings, which are achieved through our cleaning strategies that were created after first-hand experiencing the weaknesses of bigger cleaning companies in town.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment?
Yes. We bring everything needed to clean your home. However, if there is a different product that you would like us to use, we adapt to those requests.
Do you clean homes just once, or do you have to clean long-term?
We offer different services. These services range from weekly to our one-time cleanings.
How many people will be in my home during each cleaning?
Typically, there will be the same two people in your home; the team leader and the team member. During the first cleaning, three or four people will come together in a bigger but organized team to perform the deep cleaning, as these cleanings take a lot longer. For your future recurring cleanings, the same two people will be coming to your house unless there is a schedule change or an emergency with one of those team members. We will be in touch with you if any of these occur.
If I signup for long-term service, will the same person be in my home each time?
Yes. We have a small number of crews and each crew has their specified number of houses that they clean. There are times when we are able to open another crew, and during this time we recruit new members after careful consideration. When this occurs, you will be contacted and informed. Also, there might be rare occasions when a team member has an emergency and we are fully aware that communication is important to maintain with our clients.
What time will you be at my home?
We provide a 30-minute window for arrival. In our 7-year experience we have been very successful at arriving within that time with our clients that request the fixed-time-and-day service. If for some reason or another we are running late, we will call you to inform you.
I would like to get a gift card for a whole house cleaning. Can you tell me how much to spend?
It is very difficult to provide a quote sight unseen. Many factors are considered during our estimates such as size of the house, number of pets, clutter, type of furniture, number of people living in the house etc.
Ruth & Ruth will clean the home within the amount of the gift card, or the gift recipient can apply additional funds to receive more services.

Can I just get a ballpark figure of how much it will cost to clean my home?
We can provide a very wide range that takes into account a lot of the possibilities of cleaning your home. However, we cannot specify where your price will fall under that range sight unseen. There are many factors that need to be considered to provide a price such as size of the house, number of people living in it, number of pets, type of furniture, clutter etc.
